Gojo City Nishiyoshinocho Yukawa Persimmon Orchards

  • Persimmons
Farm Name Gojo City Nishiyoshinocho Yukawa Persimmon Orchards
Farm Information Gojo city is Japan's largest producer of persimmons. There are roughly 10 persimmon farms that follow the sloping landscape of Yukawa in Nishiyoshinocho, and it is here that you will find fuyu persimmons, which are well-known for their astringency-free sweetness. When you make a reservation at Yukawa Tourism Association, they will introduce the best farms to visit that day to you. In the area there is also the Persimmon Museum, where you can learn all about the cultivation, history, and uses of persimmons, so we recommend stopping by here as well.
